Can I send secure emails to recipients who don’t have a Zivver account?

Yes. Zivver allows you to securely email anyone, even if they don't have a Zivver account. When you send a secure message, the recipient receives a notification with a secure link. After verifying their identity through 2FA (depending on your preferred authentication method), recipients can view and securely respond to the message in Zivver’s secure environment.

What measures does Zivver take to prevent sending sensitive information to the wrong recipient?

Zivver uses intelligent error detection based on user behavior and machine learning. For example, Zivver identifies unusual recipients in the ‘to’ field, misuse of Bcc, as well as sensitive data in the body and attachments - providing real-time alerts before you press send. These warnings help prevent common mistakes like misaddressed emails or unprotected attachments. If something slips through, you can instantly revoke access to the message, keeping sensitive data under your control.
