# Set Verification Method in Outlook

In Outlook, with the Zivver Outlook Plugin, you can set an extra security check. This ensures that only the intended recipients can read your message. We call this extra check the _Verification method_. To open your message, the recipient enters a code. After that, the recipient can open, read, and reply to your Zivver message.
