# Reset your two-factor authentication (2FA)

Is it possible to reset two-factor authentication (2FA)?

## Answer

Yes, it is possible to reset your 2FA, but only **after** you have successfully logged in. If you want to change your current 2FA method, you must delete it and set up a new one.

### Procedure

01. Go to the [WebApp](https://app.zivver.com/).
02. Click **My profile** at the bottom left of the browser tab.
03. Go to the _security_ **Security** tab.
04. Click the trash bin icon _delete_forever_.
05. Enter your password.
06. Click the Verify button.

_A confirmation window opens._
07. Click the Delete button.
08. Click Setup.

_A new window opens._
09. Click Next.
10. Select the option SMS code or Authenticator app.
11. Click Next.
12. Verify your phone number or the Authenticator app.
13. On the final screen, download the backup codes.

Warning

It is very important that you save these backup codes. The backup codes are usually stored in your Downloads folder.
