Set up Zivver client settings

In the Plugin settings section of the Zivver WebApp, you can configure settings for users in your organization.

You can configure the settings as follows:

On, user adjustable: The setting is enabled by default, but users can change it in their own environment.
On, enforced: The setting is enabled by default, and users cannot change it in their own environment.
Off, user adjustable: The setting is disabled by default, but users can change it in their own environment.
Off, enforced: The setting is disabled by default, and users cannot change it in their own environment.

These are the available client settings. The labels indicate which Zivver product each setting applies to.

Collect information about emails sent without Zivver Zivver Office PluginOutlook Web Access

If you enable this setting, Zivver also collects information from regular emails. We recommend using On, enforced for this setting. For more information, refer to Which emails to log.

Automatically use Zivver when a business rule recommends it Zivver Office PluginOutlook Web AccessChrome Extension

If you enable this setting, the email client automatically sends the email securely when a business rule with the level Warning recommends secure sending. However, users can still send the email as a regular message.

Show newest on top Zivver Office Plugin

If you enable this setting, the email client displays Zivver messages in a conversation with the newest messages at the top.

Save sent Zivver messages without encryption Zivver Office Plugin

If you enable this setting, sent Zivver messages can be read directly in any email client. However, this also means the messages and files are no longer protected, which poses a risk—for example, if a user’s laptop or phone is stolen.

Save received Zivver messages without encryption Zivver Office Plugin

If you enable this setting, received Zivver messages can be read directly in any email client. However, this also means the messages and files are no longer protected, which poses a risk—for example, if a user’s laptop or phone is stolen.

Automatically enable Zivver for every new message Zivver Office Plugin

If you enable this setting, the email client sends all new emails as secure Zivver messages by default. However, users can still choose to send a message or file as a regular email. Enable this setting for users who send sensitive information in almost every email.
