# Proof of delivery report

Zivver can make a proof of delivery report available as a feature.

This feature is available if Zivver enables it for your organization. Please speak to your Zivver representative.

The proof of delivery report has the following main purposes:

- Inform the sender of a message about the delivery status of their (notification) message.
- Provide the sender with detailed information about the delivery process of their message.

The proof of delivery report contains the following information:

- A summary showing whether the message was sent and delivered, and whether it was encrypted in transit.
- The Zivver event flow from message creation onwards, including delivery failures.
- NTA 7516 message status, if relevant.
- Zivver message revocation status.

**Remarks**

- Zivver sends Inbound Direct Delivery and NTA messages as plain text.
- If a recipient’s email server does not honor DSN (Delivery Status Notification) requests, Zivver cannot detect a delivery failure for that message. Consequently, the log does not contain such failures.
