# Export user data

Export all Zivver messages that were sent and received by your organization for archiving purposes. You can export your Zivver messages using one of two methods:

1. [Using the Zivver WebApp](https://docs.zivver.com/en/admin/webapp/references/export-data-zivver-message.html): export all messages in a Zip file.

_This method is recommended for smaller organizations with a limited number of messages._

2. [Using the API](https://docs.zivver.com/en/admin/webapp/references/export-data-api.html): export messages with a python script.

_This method is recommended for organizations with a large number of messages._

Note

Exporting all messages of your Zivver organization is disabled by default. Please [create a support ticket](https://support.zivver.com/s/contactsupport?language=en_US) to have it enabled.
