# Secure email without Zivver client

You can securely send messages from your mail server or a third-party application without using the Zivver client or an integration. For this, you can use the Zivver Encryption Gateway. To use the Encryption Gateway, your mail server or application must support SMTP.

In the Zivver WebApp, you can generate and delete SMTP credentials in the [SMTP credentials panel](https://app.zivver.com/admin/smtp-credentials).
