# Remove the Zivver Synctool

## Remove the Synctool

Follow these steps to remove everything related to the Zivver Synctool.

1. Log in to the [Zivver WebApp](https://app.zivver.com/).
2. Click  **Organization Settings**.
3. Expand  **Integrations**.
4. Click **API keys**.
5. Disable the API Key for the Synctool **Off**.
6. Go to the Windows Server hosting the Synctool.
7. Delete the tasks in Task Scheduler that run the Synctool synchronization daily.
8. Delete the Synctool folder (e.g., `C:\Zivver\Synctool`). Uninstallation is not required; the Synctool runs standalone and was never formally installed.
9. Remove service accounts for Zivver and/or [applications in Entra ID for modern authentication with Exchange Online](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/exchange/app-only-auth-powershell-v2?view=exchange-ps).
