# Synctool LDAP connection gives Error (407)

Attempts to connect the Zivver Synctool through LDAP result in the following error:

> The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required.

## Cause

A proxy server is blocking the Synctool.

## Solution

1. Go to **Profile** \> **Network Proxy**.
2. Check **Enable Proxy**.
3. Fill in the proxy details.
